Chief Executive Officer
Chris Jordan is the Founder and Executive Director of Childway Pediatric Services Inc. and Avana LLC. He brings over 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership and nonprofit administration, with a proven track record of program development, compliance, and advocacy. Chris is a graduate of Bloomsburg University and serves on several local boards, including as Vice Chair of Upper Saucon Parks and Recreation and Compliance Officer for the Lehigh Carbon Community College Foundation Board.
Throughout his career, Chris has combined strategic leadership with a deep commitment to serving vulnerable populations. Under his guidance, Childway has expanded its clinical services, strengthened partnerships with families, and championed policies that support children with complex medical needs. His dedication has helped position Childway as a model of excellence in pediatric long-term care. Now, Avana follows that blueprint, as a model of excellence for Home and Community Based Services for the I/DD population. Known for his hands-on approach, Chris works collaboratively with healthcare professionals, policymakers, and caregivers to ensure every individual receives personalized, dignified care
Director of Operations
Erin Stone, Director of Operations at ChildWay Pediatric Services and Avana, brings over two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, community program development, and human services. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Human Services from Susquehanna University and furthered her expertise by earning a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from East Stroudsburg University in June 2017.
Erin began her career at Saucon Valley Community Center in 2002 and was appointed Executive Director just one year later. Over her 17-year tenure, she led a wide array of programs supporting children, seniors, and families, while also playing a key role in grant writing, fundraising, and community engagement initiatives. In 2019, Erin joined ChildWay Pediatric Services as Human Resources Manager, and in 2021, she transitioned into her current role as Director of Operations. Her career reflects a deep-rooted commitment to advancing the mission of nonprofit organizations, and she remains passionate about improving the lives of both children and adults through inclusive, compassionate, and mission-driven care.
Director of Clinical Services
Cecelia Baker is a dedicated healthcare professional and Navy Reserve Veteran of the Gulf War, with over three decades of experience in pediatric and respiratory care. Her medical career began during her military service from 1987 to 1996, where she developed a deep commitment to clinical excellence. Cecelia earned an Associate Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Penn State in 1991, followed by an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy from Gwynedd Mercy University in 1993. She began specializing in pediatric respiratory care in 1995, a focus that became deeply personal after the premature birth of her twins in 1996 due to Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome.
In 2017, Cecelia advanced her clinical expertise by earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from La Salle University. A founding team member at ChildWay Pediatric Services, she joined the organization in 2012 as a staff respiratory therapist and quickly rose through the ranks—serving as Respiratory Supervisor, Assistant Director, and now Director of Clinical Services. Cecelia’s leadership is grounded in both lived experience and clinical knowledge, driving her passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
Clinical Coordinator
Jessica Durst, Clinical Coordinator at ChildWay Pediatric Services, is a highly experienced and compassionate healthcare professional with over 23 years of clinical experience. A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and certified First Aid and CPR Instructor, Jessica has been an integral part of the ChildWay team for the past five years, where she plays a key role in supporting the health and safety of medically complex children.
Jessica is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, further strengthening her leadership skills and commitment to advancing clinical operations. With a strong foundation in patient-centered care and a growing focus on healthcare management, she is dedicated to promoting quality outcomes, supporting care teams, and enhancing the overall well-being of the individuals and families we serve. Her blend of hands-on expertise and forward-thinking leadership continues to make a meaningful impact across ChildWay’s programs.
Program Specialist
At Avana, our dedication to quality care, compassion, and community inclusion is embodied by our Program Specialist, Tiffany Tucker. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Temple University and graduate studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University, Tiffany offers both academic insight and a heartfelt commitment to supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and Autism.
Tiffany is a Certified Project Manager, Certified Employment Support Professional and Certified Investigator, bringing a results-driven mindset rooted in strategic planning, continuous improvement, and individualized outcomes. With over a decade of experience in program coordination, positive behavior planning, and advocacy, she applies both structure and empathy to every aspect of care.
